Finite Element Analysis of the Magnetic Field Distribution in a Magnetic Abrasive Finishing Station and its Impact on the Effects of Finishing Stainless Steel AISI 304L

In this article, we present a numerical model of magnetic abrasive finishing station, which was analyzed using the finite element method (FEM). The obtained results were compared with real values measured on an experimental station our own design. prepared had option adjusting flux density inside machining gap, width could be changed from 10 to 30 mm. maximum value air gap 0.8 T. distribution in area also analyzed. A design experiment carried out following variables: grain concentration, and process duration. are presented form regression equations characteristics for selected roughness parameters.
